This volume, the first in the multi-volume series of the renewed excavations' final reports, includes the final report of the Byzantine architectural remains unearthed at the Ophel, including the Byzantine gold and silver menorah treasure. It also reports on the First Temple period buildings unearthed at the Solomonic royal quarter. The final chapter presents a unique find belonging to King Hezekiah.
