This book is the first of five volumes dedicated to the archaeological excivations of Mount Gerizim, which began in the early 1980s and continue up to this day. The publication of these inscriptions will provide an important contribution to understanding the development of the written letter and will shed new light on the history of the Samaritans in the Second Temple period.
